
LSP Training
The LSP training is an 8-hour course designed to establish high inter-rater reliability for cohort data and the home visitor's ability to use the LSP reflectively and to craft reflective questions for a parent that support change in areas of high need. Up to 26 participants can be trained in one session in person, or 14 can be trained virtually in one session.
The training is offered at program sites and the materials presented cover:
- Home visitation outcome & utilization focused evaluation theory
- Best practice/evidence based standards for home visitation
- Functional Health Literacy & the LSP/FHL scales
- Establishing Judgment in scoring scales/practice scoring
- Use of the LSP for Reflective Supervision and Reflective Practice
- Skill development in use of Reflective Questions
- Identifying and supporting parental literacy & FHL
